Everyone has the right to be saved

I'm Sofia, an 18-year-old student and I'm deeply committed to the serious topic of immigration. For instance, I joined Refugee Welcome, a non-profit organization that takes action to guarantee the refugee the rights they deserve by providing them a wide range of services. In addiction, I decided to take part of the UNHCR Young Champions program to further assist those disadvantaged people in the integration in their host countries. Apart from giving all the support I can to the refugees, I also collaborate with Saidika organization, another non-profit organization that operates in Nairobi, Kenya and that is involved in a wide range of women empowerment projects. 

Indeed, volunteering is something I really care about. I strongly feel the urge to collaborate in order to provide assistance for people exactly like me who unfortunately find themselves in difficult circumstances and to enable them to have a better future. It is my belief that this goal is achievable only if we all take action and put all our efforts in it. Supporting Open Arms admirable deeds, in my opinion, is a good start.
