I am running the Barcelona Marathon for a charity close to my heart.
My story
In 2014 with the Irish Navy I helped rescue and provide safe passage for over 1300 people from The Mediterranean but 100s of thousands continue to risk their lives and cross every year.
After leaving the military and the pandemic I lost my passion for running, 3 years later I took steps to change it.
I am running the Barcelona Marathon, I began training in March 2023
and completed the Malaga half marathon in October 2023 in 1 hour 55 minutes I also ran the Sitges half marathon and the Barcelona half marathon in 1 hour 45 minutes.
My goal is to raise 1200 euros.
